The ADSL2/2+ port carries WAN traffic at speeds of up to 24 Mbps (ADSL2+), while the LAN port supports LAN traffic at speeds up to 100 Mbps.

The TR-068 compliant rear panel and LED indicators also simplify installation and improve ease-of-use.

Secure Connections

As the first level of protection, a Stateful Firewall (with DoS protection) and NAT/PAT help to isolate the LAN from external threats.

Second, IP and MAC address filtering provide fine-grained access control to or from the network. Third, advanced security technologies, such as Virtual Private Networks (VPN) with PPTP pass-through, L2TP pass-through and IPSec pass-through ensure secure networking.

Remote Auto-Configuration (TR-069)

TR-069/TR-098/TR-111 standards compatibility ensures interoperability with central office remote management equipment.

From the user perspective this reduces downtime and frustration. For the service provider it means improved customer relations and simplified management.

Flexible Management

Besides TR-069, other tools are also supported, including SNMP, SSH, TELNET, and a web browser based graphical user interface. These tools provide configuration and control functions including firmware upgrades (via FTP/TFTP) and configuration backup & restoration. The web based user interface features auto-PVC configuration, a diagnostic dashboard and other advanced management functionality.
