If you would like to use Netscape Communicator to access Newsgroups, you can click on Newsgroup Servers. It is located directly underneath the Mail Servers in the preferences.
1.
Select the item in the News Servers box.
2. If the item is NOT labeled cnews.newsguy.com, click the Delete button.
3. Click the Add... button.
4. Type cnews.newsguy.com in the Host space.
5. The Port should be 119.
6. No other box should be checked. Click OK
7. Click the Edit... button.
8. Check Only login when the server requests it.
9. Click the OK button to close the Add News Server window.
